Because we are online only, we accept most forms of credit cards and debit cards.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We want you to be 100% satisfied and will gladly refund any product that does not meet your standards within 30 days. Our only ask is that you fill out a short survey so we can make sure that we refine our experience to exceed your expectations.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR MATERIALS?
We've worked very hard to source materials that are natural and sustainable; no harm in collecting ingredients to create the products and waste-free when we are done with them.
Here are a few examples:

We don't use any palm oil except in our body bar (which is from Palm Done Right).

Our Bisabolol is harvested from the Candeia tree in Brazil in partnership with Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) where modern techniques were adapted for the sustainable management of this species. Thanks to this research the Candeia has never figured in the list of products threatened with extinction.

The wood for our dishes is sourced when possible from trees that have already fallen.
WHAT ABOUT ALLERGIES?
Everyone has unique product needs and we have tried to select ingredients that work well for most skin and hair types. We offer fragrance free products, as well as scented products. For our scented products, we use pure essential oils which contain no parabens, Propylene Glycol, petrochemicals, phthalate, artificial additives, synthetic colors, or harmful chemicals.
We suggest if you have sensitive skin, using our fragrance free line.

Our founder is from a Dutch community in Iowa called Pella. When looking for brand names she wanted to honor her Dutch heritage, with a simple and easy to pronounce name. Heffen means "to raise or lift". Our mission is to raise the standards on everyday home essentials.
